Tank and Side panels need to be G5 Green.
| |
| Leave for three weeks and starts looking a lot better. |

| |
| Inside very nasty. Add some low acid 5% should do. |

| |
|
Inside now looking good so lets start the outside. |

| |
| Connect a battery charger and a  Zink bolt to coat the tank, Well give it a try.
 |

| |
| It will be a pain to match but I will find a way. |

| |
| Off with the Honda badges and start removing old green paint.
 |

| |
| The original paint is called TQ Ilex Green Metallic Special.
 |
| |
| I took the tank to Middleton Panels & Paint in Gloucester
 |

Mat has mixed up a relay close match, fingers crossed.
| |
|
First pass looking great.  |
| |
| Looking better and better. |

| |

 |

| |
| My Home made spray Booth.
 |
With these actual decals they react to thinners so I had to use K2 spray from Middleton Panels & Paint.
| |
| First clean well |
| |
| Spray with soapy water. |

| |
| Slowly peel of backing paper pressing out the water.
 |
| |
| Fit Decal in place.

 |
| |
| Same with the "preserve nature" sticker.
 |
| |
| Now into my booth for 4 coats of clear coat.
 |

| |
| One lug was broken so a melted washer covered with fibreglass.
 |

| |
| First top coat on 3 more to go. |
| |
| Primer on and ready for first top coat.
