The Strip starts

 After doing a compression test on the engine as the figures were so low I am going to overhaul the head. This will include de-coking and re grinding the valves new stem seals. and clean the barrels and measure the ware on the rings to see if a re bore is on the cards




Out with the engine.





 

Fair looking lump.



  




Off with the vent cap.

                         Head bolts next including the two inside top vent.

 

  

  

  After a jolly good clean of the head I can take out the valvesOff with the head

Two very messy pistons. 

  

  
  

Valves defiantly need re grinding and new stem seals as a minimum.
