All done and on the road Feb 2013. 38 years old and looking great.                         

Front brake overhaul

Tired looking calliper.

Dodgy looking bleed nipple.

Polish up nice.

Looking good.

Piston has had it.

Finally out 

Steel Piston needs replacing.

Out with the old seal.

Clean out the seal grove.

New Seal and stainless piston.

In with the new seal.

Start to push in the new piston.

New Bleed nipple.

Piston all the way in.

Light brush with copper grease.

More Copper grease.

Looking good.

Seat Cover

Seat Pan

The worst area is on the side of the kick stand. Which
suggests that this bike was left out in the wet on the
 side stand for many years

Old base is not to bad.

 .

Small 1/8 th plate infill for the
 rot next to the lock.

Mig working great.

Clean inside as this will be in view

Small rot around drain hole.

Foam side after welding.

Underside area after welding.

Remove old strap nut as it was rotten.

Bottom edge front rotten so cut
 back to good steel.

Wind down the required nut.

New Steel in place.

Mig in place and remove bolt.

Weld both sides.
